"Mia's high prey drive was a huge issue for us as we didnt know how to re-direct it. Naughty Dog School showed us how to handle Mia's behaviour and I now feel relaxed and happy to walk her"

I'm Mia, I am the lead bitch at Naughty Dog School. I help T'ealc to supervise the the 'Big Boy Group'.
I live with my Mum Sarah and her family. I came to Naughty Dog School because I was getting involved in lots of fights.
I was chasing dogs, cars, joggers, anything that moved really. It was like I was drawn to causing trouble wherever I went. The funny thing is that I am not aggressive I was simply putting ill mannered dogs in their place!
I love to chase. Simple really but it is clear that I am putting others and myself at risk by chasing cars and bikes. The funny thing was that when I was doing it I was asking myself why? Why am I doing this?
My natural instinct kicked in and I just responded to my body. It is so difficult to be 'good' when you have no idea that what you are doing is so wrong. Being a dog means that I am unable to see past my instinct and require training and repetition to learn what is expected.
What I love about the Naughty Dog School is the way I am allowed to be me. I am not perfect, my mum, Sarah has learnt that by allowing me to be myself once a week I am able to fulfill my duty which is to restrain myself when we are out, most of the time anyway!
Mia is a big cause for concern. She is large, very strong willed in mind, body and soul! Mia has all the characteristics of a lead bitch had she lived in the wild. Nature created her that way to be able to help the survival of The Dog, Pack animal. Dogs are like people they fall into different groups, what we like to call 'energies'. By allowing the dogs to act in accordance with their 'energies' it lets the steam out of the head allowing true behavioural changes.
